Iran Volleyball Team Invited to Berlin
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran volleyball team has been invited to Berlin, Germany to hold training camp practices.
Mahmoud Afshardoust, General Secretary of Iran Volleyball Federation, who is in Berlin for the Men’s European Qualifier, said that the Berlin volleyball club has invited Iran to hold a training camp in Germany.
“Berlin officials’ club have shown interest in holding joint training camp practices with Team Melli. Also, several other countries are going to hold training camp with us,” Afshardoust said.
“We’ve negotiated with the some participating teams in the event but Raul Lozano will make the final decision about that,” he added.
In May 2016, Iran will play in the Asian Olympic Qualifier in Tokyo and try to qualify for the Olympic Games for the first time since the 1964 edition in Tokyo, the first year volleyball appeared on the Olympic program.
