Andranik Teymourian on Esteghlal’s Radar
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian popular football club Esteghlal of Tehran has shown interest in signing Andranik Teymourian.
Iran football captain has parted company with Umm Salal in Qatar Stars League last week.
“Esteghlal welcomes Teymourian back to his home. We are going to strengthen our team and Ando can help our team until the end of the season,” Esteghlal coach Parviz Mazloumi said Monday.
The 32-year old midfielder joined Qatari side Umm Salal but left the club half way through the season after a disagreement with the head coach and with only 12 appearances and no goals.
