Iran to Build "Formula 1 Circuit" on Qeshm Island: Report
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran plans to build a "Formula 1 circuit" on Qeshm Island, south of Iran.
Mahmoud Seydanlou, the head of Iran's Motorcycle and Automobile Federation, announced that the FIA "has expressed willingness to construct road courses for Formula One races in Iran".
Many corporations from Germany and other European countries interested in road courses construction for Formula One races.
Seydanlou hopes that ongoing negotiations will lead to "a comprehensive plan on the issue within a month", pitpass.com reported.
