Bruno Rezende: Service Is Key in Modern Volleyball
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Brazil's captain Bruno Rezende says that service is a key skill to disable the opponent’s side-out.
Brazil used a service storm over Iran to win 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 28-26) in the opening match of the FIVB Volleyball World League 2016.
“In modern volleyball the service is a key skill to disable the opponent’s side-out. Sometimes, in order to inflict this kind of aggressive service, we need to take some risks,” Rezende told fivb.com.
“In match against Iran our service worked well, but we are still looking for the perfect interaction among us.”
“The important thing is that we started our World League journey with a victory over a tough opponent,” the captain added.
