Iranian Boxers Win Four Bronze Medals at Agalarov Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian youth boxers claimed four bronze medals in "A. Agalarov Cup – 2016" on Saturday.
The event started on December 21 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Peyman Shahpari in 49kg, Ashkan Rezaei in 52kg, Ashkan Rashid in 64kg, and Mohammad Nourshad in 91kg claimed four bronze medals in the tournament.
Iran participated in the competition with seven boxers.
The team headed by Hossein Nohrudi in the competition.
The International annual youth boxing tournament is being held in memory of Abbas Agalarov in Azerbaijan’s capital, Baku.
