Exclusive: Video Shows Iraqi Popular Forces Liberate Village Near Tal Afar
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An exclusive video shot by a Tasnim reporter shows parts of an operation launched by Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), also known as Hashd al-Shaabi, to liberate a village near Tal Afar, a town located approximately 50km west of Mosul, from Daesh (ISIL or ISIS).
For over 48 hours, the Tasnim reporter was with Iraq’s Hashd al-Shaabi forces during their push to liberate the village and other areas near Tal Afar from the grip of Daesh terrorists.
The video shows breathtaking moments of the courage and valor of battle-hardened troops of Iraq’s PMU when they clash with Daesh terrorists.
The footage also includes images of suicide blasts, defusing explosives planted by Daesh, destruction of their hideouts, and apprehension of their ringleaders.
