Iran’s Masoud Shojaei Reaches Agreement with AEK: Report
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian international attacking midfielder Masoud Shojaei will sign his contract with AEK after Christmas of 2017.
The 33-year-old player will soon be released from Panionios and AEK Spanish coach Manolo Jimenez considers him as an ideal replacement for captain Petros Mantalos, who will miss the remainder of 2017-18 season because of cruciate ligament injury, SDNA.gr reported.
Shojaei started his playing career with Sanat Naft Abadan in 2002 and has also played in Saipa, Al-Sharjah, CA Osasuna, UD Las Palmas, Al-Shahania Sports Club and Al-Gharafa Sports Club.
Shojaei currently trains with Las Palmas after parting company with Panionios.
