Yemen's Houthis Fire Missile at Saudi Aramco Facility

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Fighters from Yemen’s Houthi Ansarullah movement fired a ballistic missile at a Saudi Aramco facility in the kingdom’s southwest.

Yemen’s Arabic-language al-Masirah television network said on Monday that a domestically made missile had targeted a distribution center belonging to oil giant Saudi Aramco in Saudi Arabia’s southwestern Jizan province on Monday.

There was no immediate confirmation of the report from Saudi authorities following the attack.

The attack was carried out in retaliation for the Saudi regime’s relentless military aggression against the impoverished Arab country.

Yemen’s defenseless people have been under massive attacks by the Saudi-led coalition for over three years but Riyadh has reached none of its objectives in Yemen so far.

Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.

Over 14,000 Yemenis, including thousands of women and children, have lost their lives in the deadly military campaign.
