Video of IRGC Speedboats' March 21 Encounter with US Warship in Persian Gulf (+Video)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian State TV has for the first time showed a close encounter between Iran’s IRGC speedboats and the USS Theodore Roosevelt in the Persian Gulf’s Strait of Hormuz on March 21.
In the video, speedboats are seen closing in on the US aircraft carrier.
The Strait of Hormuz is world's most important strategic chokepoints, given that 20% of globally traded petroleum passes through the narrow channel each year.
The US 5th Fleet is currently deployed in the Persian Gulf.
