Siamak Nemati Nominated for ACL Goal of the Week
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis midfielder Siamak Nemati’s goal against Al Sadd of Qatar has been nominated for this week’s Goal of the Week.
Nemati was on target in the 49th minute in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium. His goal sent Persepolis to the AFC Champions League final for the first time.
Al Sadd striker Baghdad Bounedjah’s goal against Persepolis is also among the nominees.
Kashima Antlers forward Serginho and Dejan Damjanovic from Samsung Bluewings are also vying for the award.
The winner will be decided by public vote amongst the fans on the AFC’s social media networks.
