Saudi Arabia Reshuffles Cabinet, Names New Foreign Minister
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – King Salman of Saudi Arabia reshuffled the cabinet on Thursday, naming a replacement for Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir.
In a royal decree released on Thursday, the Saudi king named a new foreign minister as part of the government reshuffle, AFP reported.
Reports suggest that Ibrahim al-Assaf has been named foreign minister in the new cabinet announced by the state TV.
Assaf replaces 56-year-old Adel al-Jubeir, who was chosen as the Saudi foreign minister in April 2015.
