US Epitome of Evil: Iran Rally Statement
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian people attending countrywide demonstrations in celebration of the 40th anniversary of victory of the Islamic Revolution slammed the US as the very epitome of evil and violence, calling on the Iranian officials to keep boosting the country’s defense and missile power.
In a final declaration after holding mass rallies in Iran’s capital of Tehran and other cities on Monday, demonstrators reaffirmed commitment to supporting the Islamic Republic Establishment as a “mighty political system”.
The statement also denounced the US government as the embodiment of evil, violence, cruelty, crisis-making and warmongering in the world, urging the Iranian officials to learn lessons from the negotiations that resulted in the 2015 nuclear deal (JCPOA), not forget the Great Satan’s violation of commitments over the past four decades, not trust the Western pledges, and to decisively counter the “European countries’ brazen demands”.
It also stressed the need for a continuous advance in Iran’s defense and missile power and the deterrent strategies, calling for a boost to the country’s peaceful nuclear activities.
The demonstrators also called for strong reaction to “the excessive demands by the US -the Great Satan- and by the stupid Trump’s anti-human team and its proxies.”
The statement further reaffirmed Iran’s support for the axis of resistance and for the people of Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Bahrain and Palestine in confrontation with the vicious triangle of the US, the child murdering Zionist regime, and the Al Saudi which foster evil acts, terrorism, war and terror.
Iranian people from different walks of life attended nationwide demonstrations on Monday in celebration of the 40th anniversary of victory of the 1979 revolution which ended six decades of Pahlavi monarchy and founded the Islamic Republic in the country.
The crowd of demonstrators in the rallies paid tribute to the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, under whose leadership the revolutionary movements triumphed over the despotic regime of Pahlavi on February 11, 1979.
Imam Khomeini had lived many years in exile, in Iraq and France, before returning home and leading a historical revolution that overthrew Pahlavi regime.
The 10-day period from the return of Imam Khomeini until the revolution’s victory is celebrated annually in Iran, and is known as the Ten-Day Fajr (Dawn).
