Tasnim's Photos, Videos of Rescue Operation after Tankers' Incidents in Gulf of Oman
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - On Thursday two oil tankers issued distress calls at the Gulf of Oman near the strategic strait of Hormuz. The crew from both tankers were evacuated by Iranian rescuers.
Front Altair was carrying 75,000 tons of naphtha, a petrochemical feedstock, according to Taiwan’s state oil refiner CPC, which chartered the vessel. The vessel was on fire but afloat.

Hormozgan Maritime Search and Rescue Centre in Southern Iran has managed to evacuate the crew of the two large oil tankers hit by two successive blasts in the Sea of Oman on Thursday morning.
Tasnim has received photos and videos of the incident and rescue operation captured by Iranian Navy's helicopter. They also include photos and videos of USS Bainbridge military ship in the area.
