Roadside Bomb Targets Foreign Forces’ Vehicles in Kabul: Official

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A roadside bomb struck foreign forces’ vehicles in Tangi Tarakhil area in the outskirts of Kabul on Wednesday, injuring three civilians, Kabul police spokesman Ferdous Faramarz said.

According to the official, the blast occurred at 8:30 a.m. local time.  

Another official, speaking on condition of anonymity, described the blast as a car bomb, and said no foreigners had been hurt, Xinhua news agency reported.

However, Zabihullah Majahid who claims to speak for the Taliban, claimed that the militants' attack destroyed two vehicles and inflicted casualties on foreign forces.

The NATO-led Resolute Support mission forces stationed in Afghanistan has yet to make comments.
