Iranian Wrestlers to Compete at Matteo Pellicone Memorial
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran will send eight wrestlers to the Sassari City Matteo Pellicone Memorial in Italy.
The competition is the first United World Wrestling “Ranking Series” event of the season.
Behnam Hosseinpour (61kg), Yunes Emami (70kg), Alireza Karimi (92kg) and Amir Hossein Zare (125kg) will represent Iran in the freestyle discipline.
Alireza Nejati (60kg), Mohammad Ali Geraei (77kg), Saeid Abdevali (82kg) and Amir Ghasem Monjazi (130kg) will participate in the Greco-Roman discipline.
The Sassari City Matteo Pellicone Memorial will be held in Rome, Italy from January 15 to 18.
