Sattar Hamedani Appointed as Esteghlal Sporting Director
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Ex-Team Melli and Esteghlal midfielder Sattar Hamedani has been appointed as Esteghlal’s sporting director.
Hamedani, 45, replaced Javad Zarincheh in the post on Tuesday.
He was a Esteghlal player from 1999 to 2004 and worked as assistant coach in the Blues from 2012 to 2015.
Hamedani made 38 appearances for Iran national team and scored one goal.
