Stramaccioni Will Return to Iran on Monday: Esteghlal Club
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal coach Andrea Stramaccioni will return to Iran on Monday, the club said.
The ex-Inter coach left Iran last week after Esteghlal failed to respect contractual obligations.
On Saturday, the Italian coach posted a video on his Instagram account saying he is tired of Esteghlal officials’ behavior.
“I think Esteghlal has done nothing to solve the problem. Nothing has changed since I left the club. I am no longer Esteghjlal coach. They have published a picture which shows I have received my salary but it’s not true,” Stramaccioni said.
“I really don’t know if they want to keep me in Esteghlal but I want to say I am really tired. I am tired of the management’s behavior. I want to thank Esteghlal players because they kept in touch,” he added.
Stramaccioni agent Federico Pastorello has also said he will return to Iran on Monday if he receives his salary.
