Syrian Army Discovers Terrorists’ Torture House in Idlib Offensive (+Video)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Following operations in eastern and southern Idlib province, the Syrian army discovered a prison in Hesh area where terrorists used to torture people.
Syrian State TV, Al-Ikhbaria released a footage this week showing the army troops inspecting a series of tunnels it said terrorists used as prison for torturing the people who stood against the militants.
Another set of tunnels also dug by terrorists was discovered under the museum of Maarat al Numan, which militants used as a hideout and weapons depot.
The Syrian army liberated villages of Tabyash, Jibala, Kafr Mazda, Hesh, Kanayes and some other farms in the region this weekend.
On Sunday, the Syrian military also liberated the villages of Inqrati, Kafr Batikh and Kafr Dadikh in Idlib’s southeastern countryside after fierce clashes with the terrorists, broadening the scope of the army military operations on the direction of Saraqib.
The Syrian forces are advancing against foreign-backed Takfiri militants in Idlib, tightening the noose in their last major stronghold.
Syria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates wrote to the United Nations on January 25, stressing that the operation in Idlib and Aleppo against Takfiri elements "will not stop until the elimination of those terrorists, who threaten safety and security of Syrian civilians."
