TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri called on provincial governors across the country to mobilize all capacities in containing the spread of the coronavirus and treating those infected with the virus.
Jahangiri on Thursday held telephone conversations with the governors of Tehran, Qom, Alborz, Golestan, Gilan, Mazandaran and Khuzestan, the provinces hit most by the outbreaks of COVID-19 in Iran.
Highlighting the administration’s efforts to supply all regions with the necessary equipment for the fight against the coronavirus, the vice president asked the provincial governors to identify and mobilize all forces and facilities to address the situation of patients and prevent the spread of the disease.

Social solidarity and national resolve will help Iran overcome the crisis soon, Jahangiri added.
