Pakistanis Residing in Iran Contribute to Coronavirus Relief Efforts

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The second round of a philanthropic scheme was launched by Iranians and Pakistanis residing in Iran to help families in need of relief supplies in the wake of outbreak of the novel coronavirus.

The humanitarian scheme is running under the auspices of Pakistan’s cultural office in Iran’s northeastern city of Mashhad.

Voluntary groups and ordinary people in the holy city of Mashhad have taken part in the program, under which at least 100 needy families have received aid packages including foodstuff and health products.

Pakistani Muslims in Iran have contributed to the scheme, dubbed ‘spring of rapport’.

The program is scheduled to continue in next stages.
