Protests Held in Paris in Solidarity with Palestinians (+Video)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Hundreds took to the streets of French capital Paris on Saturday to condemn Israel’s plans to annex Palestinian lands.
Israel is expected to start annexing settlements in the West Bank as early as July 1.
Protesters could be seen waving Palestinian flags in solidarity as they marched from the iconic Boulevard Barbes neighbourhood to Place de la Nation in the French capital. A number of police officers in riot gear could also be seen at the protest.
The rally comes as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to annex land in the West Bank occupied by Israeli settlements, in addition to other parts of the area, including the Jordan Valley on July 1st.
