Hundreds Protest in Gaza against West Bank Annexation Plan (+Video)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Hundreds of Gazans staged a protest on Wednesday to demand a stop to Israeli plans to annex parts of the West Bank.
Protesters held anti-Zionist banners as well as Palestinian flags as they marched.
According to reports, several talks have been ongoing between Israel and the US since Donald Trump unveiled his set of proposals known as the "deal of the century" on January 28, which envisions to turn 30% of the territory under permanent Israeli control.
The controversial process, that was supposed to start being carried out on July 1st, has been heavily criticized by the international community ever since it was unveiled, with the Palestinians rejecting the plan altogether and ending a wide range of deals with Israel and the United States last May.
