Dragan Skocic Calls Up 23-Man Squad for Uzbekistan, Mali Friendlies
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Team Melli coach Dragan Skocic has named his 23-man team for two friendly matches against Uzbekistan and Mali.
Iran national football team is scheduled to meet Uzbekistan on October 8 in Tashkent and play Mali in Antalya, Turkey five days later.
The friendly matches will be held as part of preparation for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, where Iran sits third in Group C behind Iraq and Bahrain.
Alireza Beiranvand and Alireza Jahanbakhsh are injured and Morteza Pouraliganji cannot travel from China due to COVID-19 restrictions.
