Iran’s FM in Cuba for Official Visit
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif visited Cuba in the second leg of a tour of Latin America.
The top Iranian diplomat arrived in Cuba’s capital of Havana on Thursday night for an official visit.
Foreign Minister Zarif is going to hold meetings with his Cuban counterpart and other senior officials of the Latin American country.
The Iranian minister is expected to hold talks on the promotion of cooperation between Tehran and Havana and the other issues of mutual interest.
Zarif has travelled to Cuba after a trip to Venezuela. He is scheduled to go to Bolivia afterwards to take part in the inauguration of new president of Bolivia Luis Arce.
