NYC Protesters Decry Ban on Indoor Dining Due to COVID-19 Restrictions (+Video)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Protesters, including restaurant workers and owners, decried the ban on indoor dining due to recent COVID-19 restrictions in New York City on Tuesday.
A restaurant owner said she had to close one of her restaurants and lay off staff, adding, "if restaurants keep closing, there's going to be more and more, and more people out of work, and it's just absolutely tragic, it's tragic."
The State of New York has registered 35,565 related deaths due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.
