Abdi Nominated for ACL 2020 Goal of Week
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis striker Mehdi Abdi will compete with Ulsan Hyundai Brazilian forward Junior Negrao to win the 2020 AFC Champions League Goal of the Week.
Abdi scored Persepolis’ only goal against Ulsan in the final match of the 2020 ACL.
The Iranian striker drove forward and fired home from just inside the box in the 45th minute.
Negrao also scored twice from the penalty spot and helped his team win ACL title for the second time.
