Iran Releases Final Report on Ukrainian Plane Crash
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Civil Aviation Organization of Iran released the final technical report on the January crash of a Ukrainian passenger plane near Tehran.
The aviation accident investigation team of Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization released the final technical report on the Ukrainian jetliner crash on Monday.
The report was given via videoconference to the officials of the other countries whose citizens were involved in the fatal incident.
The participants in the webinar also held a series of talks about the technical report.
A Kiev-bound UIA Boeing 737 crashed shortly after taking off from Tehran on January 8, killing all 176 people on board, mostly Iranian and Canadian citizens.
Iran said the plane was hit by an anti-aircraft missile due to human error.
