Abdi Winner of 2020 AFC Champions League Goal of Week
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis striker Mehdi Abdi’s goal was chosen as the AFC Champions League 2020 Goal of the Week.
He scored Persepolis’ only goal against Ulsan Hyundai in the final match of the 2020 ACL.
The Iranian striker drove forward and fired home from just inside the box in the 45th minute.
Brazilian Negrao also scored twice from the penalty spot and helped his team win the ACL title for the second time.
Abdi registered an impressive 96 percent vote.
