Explosion, Gunfire Rock Aden Airport in Yemen (+Video)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An explosion hit the Yemeni airport of Aden on Wednesday concurrent with the entrance of the new “cabinet” of fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi into the airport.
Five people have been killed and twenty were injured as a massive explosion rocked the Aden Airport, a source told Sputnik.
The blast occurred when a plane carrying the Hadi supporters landed at the airport, Reuters reported citing witnesses that gunfire was also heard at the airport after the plane landed.
The source told Sputnik that the members of the new “cabinet” were not injured in the explosion, adding that they were inside the plane at that moment.
All of them were later transferred to the Maasheeq palace in Aden.
