Iran Ready to Share Experiences in COVID Fight with Slovakia, Romania
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran is prepared to share its experiences in tackling the coronavirus pandemic, including vaccine production, with other countries such as Slovakia and Romania, President Hassan Rouhani said.
In separate meetings with the new ambassadors of Romania and Slovakia on Wednesday, Rouhani said Iran is developing and testing three vaccines for the coronavirus at present and is prepared to share its experiences with the two East European states.
Pointing to the improvement of conditions for international cooperation with Iran, the president told the Slovakian envoy that the private sector’s companies can pave the way for closer cooperation between Tehran and Bratislava in various fields.
In the other meeting, Romanian Ambassador Mirela-Carmen Grecu said her country has launched efforts to expedite the implementation of previous agreements with Iran.
Several European and African ambassadors met with the Iranian president on Wednesday.
