Iran Wins Four Medals at Outstanding Ukrainian Wrestlers & Coaches Memorial
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestlers claimed four medals at the Outstanding Ukrainian Wrestlers & Coaches Memorial.
Mohammad Sadegh Firouzpour defeated Turkey’s Soner Demirtaş 2-1 in the final match of the freestyle 74kg and claimed a gold medal.
Greco-Roman wrestler Sajad Abbaspour lost to Georgian Nugzar Tsurtsumia in the 55kg final match.
Greco-Roman wrestlers Mohammad Reza Mokhtari (72kg) and Mehdi Bali (97kg) also seized two bronze medals.
Outstanding Ukrainian Wrestlers & Coaches Memorial features nearly 600 participants from 33 different nations.
