Iranian Teams Lose at Beach Volleyball World Tour 1-Star Sofia
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian teams were defeated against their opponents at the Beach Volleyball World Tour 1-Star Sofia on Saturday.
Arash Vakili and Bahman Salemi lost to Joao Pedrosa and Hugo Campos from Portugal 2-1 (13-21, 21-15, 11-15) in Pool A.
Rahman Raoufi and Abolhamed Mirzaali also lost to Polish team Jedrzej Brozyniak and Piotr Janiak 2-0 (23-21, 21-15) in Pool B.
The Iranian team had defeated teams from Bulgaria on Friday.
The competition is being held in Sofia, capital of Bulgaria from May 20 to 23.
