Iran Comes 2nd at CAFA U-17 Women C’ship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Tajikistan 3-0 to finish in second place at the 2021 CAFA U-17 Women Championship.
Mehrnaz Ezzatabadi, Mohaddese Zolfi and Melika Bagheri scored for Iran in the match.
Shadi Mahini’s girls beat Afghanistan 6-0 and lost to Uzbekistan 2-0 in the competition.
The five-day tournament was held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
The 2021 CAFA U-17 Women Championship was the first edition of the tournament at this age level.
