Iran Advances to Thailand Futsal Tournament Final
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Uzbekistan 7-5 to book a place at the Continental Futsal Championship Thailand final.
Farhad Tavakoli (two goals), Saeid Abbasi (two goals), Mehdi Javdi, Ali Asghar Hassanzadeh and Behzad Azimi scored for Iran in this match.
Iran will play winner of Egypt and Thailand match in the final on Friday.
The tournament is under way in Bangkok, Thailand from July 25 to 30.
The Asia No. 1 is preparing for the 2021 FIFA Futsal World Cup, where it has been drawn in Group F along with defending champion Argentina, USA, and Serbia.
The 2021 FIFA Futsal World Cup will be held in Lithuania from September 12 to October 3.
