Winless Iran Basketball to Return Home from Olympics
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran basketball team will return home with three losses against Czech Republic, USA and France in the 2020 Olympic Games.
On Saturday, the Iranian team lost to France 79-62 in Saitama.
Mehran Shahintab’s men had already lost to Czech Republic and USA in the Games.
Former NBA center Hamed Haddadi had 18 points and 12 rebounds for Iran. Arsalan Kazemi finished with 11 points,
Thomas Heurtel scored 16 points for France on Saturday. Timothe Luwawu Cabarrot added 12 points and Nando de Colo had 10 points, five rebounds and five assists for the French.
