Esteghlal to Play Foolad in Final: Hazfi Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal football team will play Foolad in the final match of Iran’s Hazfi Cup.
The final match will be held in Isfahan’s Naghsh-e Jahan Stadium on Sunday.
Esteghlal defeated Gol Gohar 2-1 in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
Amin Pourali gave the visiting team a lead in the 45th minute.
Esteghlal captain Vouria Ghafouri pulled a goal back in the 74th minute from the penalty spot. He scored the second goal once again from the penalty spot in the 82nd minute.
Foolad also defeated Malavan 2-0 in Foolad Arena in Ahvaz.
Vahid Heydarieh scored the first goal in the 37th minute and Ayanda Patosi made it 2-0 before the break.
