Iran Advances to 2021 U-19 World C’ship Quarters
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated the Czech Republic 3-0 (26-24, 25-20, 25-13) and earned a place in the 2021 FIVB Volleyball Boys' U-19 World Championship quarterfinals on Monday.
The Iranian team will play Argentina on Tuesday.
Iran has lost to Poland in straight sets and defeated Nigeria in its previous matches.
Pool A consists of hosts Japan along with Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Russia Paralympic Committee (RPC) and Rio 2016 bronze medalist Egypt.
