Iranian Foreign Ministry Slams Zionist Regime's Visit to Bahrain
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, deplored Bahraini officials for welcoming the Israeli regime's Foreign Minister to Manama, warning that Israel’s presence in the region is a source of tensions and insecurity.
"We condemn any scheme that bolsters Israel's destructive presence in the region," Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said in a statement released on Friday.
"It is unfortunate that Bahraini rulers disregard the Zionist regime's everyday crimes against Palestine's oppressed yet resilient people," he continued.
"This stain will not be erased from the reputation of Bahrain's rulers. The people of the region will continue to oppose the process of normalization of ties with the Zionist regime," the Iranian diplomat further added.
