Iran’s Deputy FM Meets Qatari Officials in Doha
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Baqeri held talks with ranking Qatari officials during a visit to Doha.
Heading a delegation, Baqeri arrived in Doha on Monday and held a meeting with Qatari Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani.
The two diplomats discussed the latest regional developments, the bilateral ties between Tehran and Doha, and ways to strengthen and deepen the relations.
In a separate meeting, Baqeri held talks with Qatar’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmad Hassan al-Hamadi.
The subjects discussed in their meeting included the bilateral relations and the latest regional developments.
It was Baqeri’s first visit to a regional country as Iran’s new deputy foreign minister for political affairs.
