Iran Handball Goalkeeper Khalili Named Player of Match
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s women’s handball team goalkeeper Fatemeh Khalili Behfar was selected as the Iran and Norway match’s best player.
Khalili performed even better in her first match on Friday against Romania. That match ended with a 39-11 defeat.
Iran lost to powerhouse Norway 41-9 but Khalili was able to defend 18 times.
Iran is scheduled to meet Kazakhstan on Tuesday.
