IPL: Aluminum Held by Nassaji but Moves Top
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Aluminum football team drew 1-1 with Nassaji on Matchweek 10 of the Iran Professional League (IPL) and moved top of the table on Wednesday.
Karim Eslami was on target for Nassaji in Sari’s Shohada Stadium and Meysam Majidi leveled the score from the penalty spot in the 75th minute.
Rasoul Khatibi’s side sits top of the table with 20 points, one point ahead of Esteghlal.
In Tehran, Persepolis defeated Paykan 3-1 thanks to goals from Mehdi Abdi, Issa Alekasir and Ali Shojaei.
Alireza Koushki pulled a goal back for Paykan from the penalty spot.
