FIFA Ranking: Iran Ends 2021 As Asian Top Team
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran football team ended the year as Asia's best ranked team, following the latest FIFA World Ranking announced on Thursday.
Iran, who was in phenomenal form in the AFC Asian Qualifiers - Road to Qatar, remains 21st in the FIFA World Ranking.
Asian teams Japan (26th) and South Korea (33rd) are second and third in the ranking in Asia.
Belgium still is the best team in the world, followed by Brazil and France.
The next FIFA World Ranking will be published on February 10, 2022.
