Iran Raps Israeli President’s Visit to UAE
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry warned the United Arab Emirates against its contribution to the crises caused by the Zionist regime in the name of normalization of ties, after the Israeli president visited Abu Dhabi.
In comments at a press conference on Monday, Saeed Khatibzadeh deplored the moves aimed at normalizing ties with the Zionist regime.
He also decried the Israeli president’s official visit to the UAE and warned the countries helping the Zionist regime in creating crises in the name of normalization of relations that they themselves will be the first victims of the aggressive nature of Israel.
Iran condemns the measures for normalization of ties with Israel and advises the countries to hear the voice of their awake nations and stop creating division in the Islamic and Arab world, Khatibzadeh added.
Creating crisis is a quality inherent in the nature of the Zionist regime, he said, adding that the Israeli regime’s survival is based on crisis, terror, violence and bloodshed.
Denouncing Israel as the only apartheid regime in the international system, the Iranian spokesman said that regime seeks a racial minority’s hegemony across the occupied territories and the systematic cruel actions against the main residents of Palestine.
On Sunday morning, Israeli President Isaac Herzog arrived in the UAE on the first such visit, more than a year after Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv signed a US-brokered normalization agreement that infuriated Palestinians, who condemned it as a stab in the back, and provoked a sharp backlash in the region.
