Tajikistan Eager to Broaden Ties with Iran
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon congratulated the Iranian nation on the 43rd anniversary of victory of the Islamic Revolution, expressing his country’s willingness to expand relations with Iran in various fields.
In a message for his Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raisi on Friday, the Tajik president congratulated the Iranian government and nation on the anniversary of victory of the Islamic Revolution.
Expressing satisfaction with the remarkable achievements of cooperation between the two countries, President Rahmon said Tajikistan is eager to promote ties with Iran in various arenas on the basis of mutual understanding and trust.
He also expressed confidence that joint constructive measures as well as the common determination will help the two nations employ their capacities to expand relations.
The Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Tajikistan established diplomatic relations on January 9, 1992.
The two countries have enjoyed a close and strong relationship since then.
