Iranian Interior Minister Visits Pakistan for Talks


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Interior Minister of Iran Ahmad Vahidi has traveled to Pakistan for talks with the neighboring country’s officials on a range of issues.

The Iranian interior minister arrived in Islamabad on Monday at the official invitation of his Pakistani counterpart Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed.

Vahidi is going to hold talks with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, and with his Pakistani counterpart during his stay in Islamabad.

Pakistan's Interior Ministry had announced earlier that Iran-Pakistan border management and the exchange of prisoners will be discussed during the visit.
