Chinese Mainland Records 239 Confirmed COVID-19 Cases
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Chinese mainland recorded 239 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Saturday, with 112 linked to local transmissions and 127 from overseas, data from the National Health Commission showed on Sunday.
A total of 100 new asymptomatic cases were also recorded, and 924 asymptomatic patients remain under medical observation, CGTN reported.
Confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland now total 109,092 with the death toll remaining unchanged at 4,636 since January last year.
The latest tally of confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions is as follows:
Hong Kong: 44,386 (17,855 recoveries, 577 deaths)
Macao: 80 (79 recoveries)
