Iran’s Sarkhosh Claims Silver at 2022 IBSF Snooker Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Amir Sarkhosh of Iran won a silver medal in the 2022 IBSF Snooker Championships.
Sarkhosh was edged by Pakistan’s Ahsan Ramzan 6-5 in the final match.
He started the competition with a 4-0 win over Qatari Mansour Alobaidli. He then defeated American Ahmed Aly Elsayed 4-0.
Sarkhosh beat Myanmar’s Aung Phyo 4-0 in the next stage.
He also defeated Syrian Tareq Allabed 4-0 in last 32.
Sarkhosh beat Egyptian Mostafa Dorgham 4-2 in last 16 and defeated his countryman Siavash Mozayani 5-3 in the quarterfinals.
The Iranian snooker player booked his place in the final by beating Pakistan’s Muhammad Sajjad 5-4.
