Mehdi Taremi Nets Hat Trick against Portimonense
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Porto football team's Iranian striker Mehdi Taremi stole the show in the match against Portimonense in Liga Portugal on Saturday night.
Porto took another step towards becoming Portuguese champion with a thumping 7-0 home victory over Algarve outfit Portimonense.
Porto’s strike partnership filled its boots with Iranian center-forward Taremi helping himself to a hat-trick and Brazilian partner Evanilson bagging a brace. Marko Grujic and captain Pepe scored the other goals.
With four weeks left, Porto sits top of the table with 82 points, nine points above sporting who has one game in hands.
