Iranian Parliament's Intifada Secretariat Hails Palestinian Resistance in Face of Zionist Crimes

“Today, the continuation of the resistance and operations of young Palestinian fighters in the heart of the occupied territories show the dynamism and prosperity of the Palestinian people and their non-surrender to the volume of Nazi Zionist crimes and the betrayal of some Arab leaders.”

Following is the full text of the statement by the Islamic Consultative Assembly’s Permanent Secretariat of the International Conference in Support of the Palestinian Intifada on the Anniversary of the Nakba Day (the Palestinian Catastrophe):

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Nakba Day is reminiscent of the day of occupation of the Holy Land of Palestine and Holy Quds by the Zionist terrorist executioners and under the protection of the oppressive and arrogant British colonialists that the Islamic Consultative Assembly’s Permanent Secretariat of the International Conference in Support of the Palestinian Intifada strongly condemns.

Today, the continuation of the resistance and operations of young Palestinian fighters in the heart of the occupied territories show the dynamism and prosperity of the Palestinian people and their non-surrender to the volume of Nazi Zionist crimes and the betrayal of some Arab leaders. That 74 years of crime, murder, captivity, displacement and settlement under the full support of the United States and European countries have not been able to undermine the determination of the Palestinian people to free themselves from the yoke of the Zionist occupiers initiates a great mission and duty for the Islamic and Arab nations and the freedom-seekers of the world in defending the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.

This lively and fighting spirit demands the deterrence and growth created in Gaza, will expand to the West Bank and throughout the occupied territories, and seven million displaced Palestinian refugees will join the wave of protests and intifadas.

The Islamic Consultative Assembly’s Permanent Secretariat of the International Conference in Support of the Palestinian Intifada, by means of parliamentary diplomacy, invites all Islamic, Arab and world parliaments to use the capacity of assemblies to condemn the crimes of the Zionists, and for the International Parliamentary Union to terminate the membership of this racist regime during its next assembly. The international community, especially the UN General Assembly, is also urged to place on the agenda and re-adopt the General Assembly Resolution 3379 against the racism of the Zionist regime.
