Iran Knows Rivals at 2023 World Handball Championship

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran was drawn in Group A of the 2023 IHF Men’s World Championship along with Spain, Montenegro and Chile.

The three best teams in each group will advance to the main round, which consists of four groups – and the two best teams in the main round then go to the quarterfinals.

The quarterfinals and semifinals will be played in Stockholm and Gdansk while the final and other placement matches are played in Stockholm.

The World Cup will take place in four Polish cities – Krakow, Gdansk, Katowice and Blok – and in five Swedish cities – Stockholm, Gothenburg, Jönköping, Kristianstad and Malmö – from January 11-29, 2023.
